The City of Wilton Manors, together with Broward County Housing Finance and Community Redevelopment Division, offers homebuyer purchase assistance to qualified persons wishing to make Wilton Manors their home.
Maximum Amount of Assistance (per household) is $40,000
This program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to very-low, low and moderate income first-time homebuyers. The amount of assistance varies with income level and is available on a first-come, first-qualified basis until no more funding remains under the program.
Assistance is in the form of a 15-year, 0% interest deferred second loan that reverts to a grant if all program conditions are met.

Assistance to help you purchase a home
The Down Payment Assistance Program provides assistance to qualified first time homebuyers for down payment and closing costs associated with purchasing a home. The amount of assistance provided will be determined based on your household income. A household can qualify as very low income, low income, and moderate. Please refer to the income chart in the Learn More section of this web page to access the income limits. The amount of assistance available is from $15,000 to $35,000. All applicants must complete a pre-purchase homebuyer’s education program, and secure a first mortgage. The property to be purchased must be located in Orange County, outside the city limits of Orlando
The Purchase Assistance Program provides down payment assistance to income eligible first-time homebuyers of up to $50,000 depending on income level and need to help cover the costs to purchase a newly-constructed or existing home in Seminole County. Applicants must meet the minimum criteria of having a total combined household income at or below 120% of the area median income level; must be a first-time homebuyer, by definition has not owned a home or had interest in a home during the three-year period immediately prior to applying for Purchase Assistance; and pre-approved for a first mortgage through a private lender approved by Seminole County.
